Ancient Time Deity; Chaos Incarnate
Status: Dead
Long, long ago, when the pantheon was still small and only a handful of gods steered the fate of the world, Aeon was a thorn in their side. His body was made of shifting black and gold sand that constantly moved and shifted, showing potential futures and timelines. He constantly rewound time, stopped it when he wished, and even opened rifts to other dimensions that no other god could close.
In short, Aeon was a nightmare that no one particularly liked. He violated the order of the universe unjustly, and undid the careful work of others for his own amusement. He is the origin of the concept of chronomancy (time magic).
Hejong, god of war, took it upon himself to bring order to the chaos. He engaged Aeon in a fight that shook the cosmos. The great battle only ended when Hejong hurled a continent at Aeon, killing him on the spot in an event called Aeon's Demise. Aeon's sand rained across the world and the continent's pieces fell and created Okuna. The chasm Hejong left behind became the Sunken World.
