Ancient Blood Deity; Patron of Orcs; the Reviled
Arth is one of the gods who was contained in the Twin Crescents, but vanished after Armageddon. The following information regards his past place in the pantheon.
Status: Dead
Arth is portrayed as a massive pale orc who drains the life force from his foes. He is known for making deals to extend the lifetime of his worshippers, in exchange for blood offerings. His followers look to him in times of desperation.
Blood magic is a twisted, dangerous school of magic in Ilisara. Flesh-shaping, enthrallment, and other violent spells are cast by blood witches and warlocks. Arth revels in blood sacrifice, perseverance, and the exaltation of vitality above all. One’s body is a tool that should be taken care of. Fitness is paramount to his followers who believe their flesh and blood is Arth’s gift.
Arth favors orcs for their frenzied regenerative properties, and often bestow them with his blessings. They worship Arth in large numbers. After the death of Vandun, who was allied to Arth, many dark elves and demons have turned to Arth for guidance.
