Water is the most precious, necessary element for continued survival. So is love. Anashta personifies both. She represents water in all its forms, including rivers, lakes, oceans, springs, storms, and rain, as well as love, hope, and passion. Her devotion to her domain is unrivaled.
Anashta's followers are everywhere. Couples, lovers, sailors, fishermen, bards, and even farmers look to her for blessings and guidance. Priests and priestesses of Anashta officiate weddings. Her shrines can be found all over Ilisara and are dedicated to hope for tomorrow. Anashta enjoys creating new beings. Ilisara's oceans are full of wonders yet to be discovered.
Anashta brought many sea creatures on Ilisara to life, including humanoid races such as mermaids and sirens that little is known about. Dolphins are a symbol of Anashta. She is depicted as a young maiden of frolic and fancy. Her skin is a deep pearl color, and her hair is aquamarine like the seas.
