Overview
The Star Elves live primarily in the Crescent Islands, a small series of icy isles off the coast of Hellan. Here, they have built the new sprawling city of Buvalti; in the common tongue, the name translates to Hope Rising. Buvalti is the center of Seluna worship in the Crescents. Many shrines, temples, and practicing priestesses can be found in Buvalti.
City Structure
The Star Elves have shunned their former decadent palaces and spiraling towers for the simplicity of a peaceful, tight-knit community of tribal homes built from fresh timber. Bedecked in evergreen wreaths and branches, and sporting large roaring hearths, Buvalti's homes are cozy cabins and log-homes that inspire comfort and quiet introspection.
Leadership
Three Star Elf clans share stewardship of the city of Buvalti. Their ambassador, Kallix Erendwain, serves as the Star Elf spokesperson for the entire population in foreign diplomatic matters. She has a positive relationship with Imperator Asgarion Dawnwalker from his crucial role in supporting her people during the Winterheart Massacre.
Trade Port Characteristics
After the Winterheart Massacre, the Sun Elves offered aid and propped up the Star Elf economy. Their influence led to the reclusive, isolationist Star Elves building docks and proper ports for receiving Sun Elf ships. The Vestian Navy uses Buvalti as a supply depot and ships within the Twin Crescents regularly trade in Buvalti. It is a hub for the various kingdoms to exchange cultures, artisan goods, and stories.
