Status: Alive
Veladriel's Origins
When Veladriel fell from the stars and arrived in Ilisara, she landed in the center of Isandor’s hottest desert. She prayed for three nights and three days for the Light to save her. The sun god sent a phoenix to carry Veladriel to Vestia, where she was heralded as the sun god’s Chosen.
Veladriel pursued divinity for hundreds of years. Wars, calamities, and other great events shaped the world while her influence slowly crept across the continent. Eventually, Ilisara experienced an armageddon-like event. Many gods were weakened or killed. Veladriel seized the opportunity and slayed an evil god, taking his power for herself. Her heroic acts during the calamity earned her the eternal loyalty of the sun elves. She reformed the sun elves’ religion into “Verunism” with herself as its patron sun deity. Prayers are said to her at dawn.
